Ayurveda is a holistic healing system that assesses health potential and physiologic imbalances using a body-mind-spirit diagnostic framework. Treatment plans emphasize regular routines that include diet, lifestyle, and spiritual activities that support circadian alignment, efficient cellular activity, and balanced emotions/mental processing. Herbs, yoga, and specialized massage techniques are also used.

Healing Yoga for Cancer
This gentle yoga class series includes simple and effective yoga poses that reduce common side effects for people living with cancer such as pain, fatigue, lymphedema, neuropathy, anxiety, and insomnia. This evidence-based approach was created by Cheryl Fenner-Brown and includes a combination of intention setting, movement, breathing, sound, and guided visualization to create a positive connection with the body and soothe the mind and spirit.
The 8-week program starts with a 2-hour workshop to learn the poses and breath practices that will be used throughout the program. We then meet weekly for a 1-hour yoga class for the remaining 7 weeks. In between classes, participants are encouraged to do the practices at-home to develop a personal yoga practice as well.
This class is open to those in treatment for cancer, cancer survivors, and caregivers. It focuses on ways to incorporate yoga and self-care practices into your healing journey and build community in the process.

Monthly, Date/Time TBD | Healing Sound Circle Class
Explore the healing effects of singing and chanting sacred songs from various spiritual traditions. Attendees sit in a circle and are taught short phrases to sing in harmony together for several minutes. By repeating the same sounds and words, a vibrational intent of healing is created for the body, mind, and spirit. The song circle includes both meditative and rhythmic selections for an uplifting and restorative experience. The class ends with a 5-minute healing sound bath led by Dr. Jacobson.

This stress-reducing and uplifting yoga class offers conscious, mindful movement linked with breath to rejuvenate the body, mind, and soul. This class also includes sacred readings, hand mudras, guided visualizations, and healing affirmations for you to see and experience the abundance in your life. What you think about is what you create. This class emphasizes joy, inner peace, contentment, and gratitude as spiritual practices for a long, healthy, vibrant life.
